Shrimad Bhagwat Katha

Of the 18 Puranas written by Maharishi Veda Vyasa, Shrimad Bhagwat is the best and most sacred Purana. This Purana is the essence of all Puranas. In this Mahapuran, many of the pastimes and stories of Lord Krishna (Vishnu avatar) are described in detail. The divine and supernatural form of Lord Krishna is divinely described in ‘Shrimad Bhagavat Purana’. Apart from the stories, the stories of the devotees of God and their salvation are also described in detail in this Maha Purana.

This Maha Purana has 18 thousand verses, 12 wings and 335 chapters. The Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Maha Purana Gyan Yagya is organized in 7 days.
